I've also seen people suggest running Windows on Parallels to play Steam games - however I know Parallels and a Windows License cost $$$ and it doesn't really make sense for me to go through that expense for a 10$ game. However as another Reddit user pointed out, Apple's support site says "The version of macOS that came with your Mac is the earliest version compatible with that Mac" - so Mojave is not able to be downloaded to my Mac. I've seen one solution that people suggest is that I should create a "volume" where I have both Catalina and Mojave installed on my Mac so that I can just switch to the older OS to play games.

Any advice on how I can play this game on my computer? I'm excited to play, but when I try to download it Steam tells me that Portal 2 is not compatible with my computer because Portal 2 is 32 bit, which the newer Macs (mine is the 2020 MacBook Air running Catalina 10.15.6) do not support.
